This course reviews the basics of essential oils and the recent boon essential oils have had in the wellness industry. Ethical considerations are discussed concerning the use of essential oils with clients and ethical concerns regarding the sale of essential oils and other nutritional supplements within private practice. Effective and appropriate use of essential oils within a therapy/counseling session are reviewed with particular attention to one’s scope of practice.

Participants will understand how essential oils can be used ethically with clients

Participants will know how to use non-diagnostic language to describe the use of essential oils.
