That sounds right, doesn’t it?
This is my new direction. The pandemic arrived and everything got upended for so many people in positive and negative ways. And sometimes a little bit of both. For me, the pandemic has given me time to embrace new projects and studies and the new birth is Essential Soul Care.
As I reflect on how this has all come to be, I realize this is a culmination of many years of work and focus and now the true grit and the good bones of my career are showing up.
The Road More and More People Want to Travel
I have been teaching therapists for 2 decades and coaches for a dozen years. Several years ago I introduced myself as an Intuitive, went all woo on everyone, got Reiki trained, found essential oils, and came out of the Pixie closet. I was well established in the field of counseling and was told by more than one person I was committing professional suicide. I even got a few nastygrams from colleagues who could not believe I was going the way of the charlatan.
Since that time I have been teaching coaches, therapists and other professionals how to ethically integrate intuition and alternative modalities into their work with clients and my work has never been more rewarding.
Your Guide at the Crossroads
Now I am bringing all of my experience and knowledge forward in the Essential Soul Care series consisting of a book, oracle deck and course. I have partnered with Madison Akridge, a fellow traveler. We sojourn well together and bring our like minds to Essential Soul Care works. Essential Soul Care is for anyone who desires to live an authentic, inspired and expansive life. Many of us are on this path right now, becoming enlightened, understanding ascension and finding ways to shine our light and be of service to others.
Essential Soul Care is about psychospiritual learning and experiencing, bringing together the tools that guide us in living an expansive life. These foundational tools include the 7 elements of well-being paired with the 7 primary chakras. We offer a book, an oracle deck and a course for personal growth and professional development.
Essential Soul Care Practitioner
For the practitioner, the course offers 100 hours of learning focused on a psychospiritual approach to the helping professions. The course is online and self-paced and suits those who wish to add a psychospiritual foundation to the work they are already doing.
The course focuses on the Essential Soul Care approach combined with applications of the InnerView Guidance psychospiritual model.
The course includes:
- Seven elements of soul expansion
- Seven primary chakras
- Corresponding tools such as essential oils, crystals, affirmations and journal prompts to assist your clients
- Principles of Innerview Guidance, a psychospiritual model for the helping professions (developed by a Registered Psychotherapist and Medical Doctor)
- Kybernetes Reiki attunement and training to Master level, Usui tradition
Each student is individually tutored and is also part of a community of students and graduates. Bi-weekly live calls enhance intuitive training using the Essential Soul Care Oracle Deck.
Continuing Education is available for most mental health professionals in the United States.
