That’s right. Sometimes we close one door so many more can open… to usher in opportunity. That’s what we are doing. We are closing the door to our brick and mortar shop in downtown Havana. The Havana Wellness Studio will continue to be right here, online so the virtual doors will remain open. We are not going away- the Boutique and the in-person offerings at the Studio will be transformed.
What Next?
I will still be offering workshops of all kinds, and of course, mostly with a focus on essential oils. I’ll be taking my show on the local roads, conducting workshops in homes and businesses, coffee shops and on the park bench. One-to-one, small and large groups of all kinds, professional and personal.
I recently have had my online workshops approved for Continuing Education credit for Psychologists, Nurses, Social Workers and Counselors so I will be offering in-services and lunch-n-learn opportunities within the local area as well. These 1-hour workshops are focused on essential oils for emotional wellness.
My branding remains the same as Havana Wellness Studio. I live in Havana and I support Havana. The energy that I pour into my work happens as I am grounded here and exactly where I need to be spiritually. And being grounded means I go where I am led.
So Why Close the Door?
We both took on a business, already having businesses. So for three years we have both worked 2 jobs. To say it simply, we are tired. And because we are in such a rural area, we kinda tapped out the local audience. We have many loyal customers and clients who truly supported us but we both felt that we could have more time to share with others in the larger community if we didn’t have the shop to carry.
And for me, my online work- intuitive services and online courses for seekers, coaches and therapists- that work is blossoming. And I need to nurture what has been presented to me. I have a growing online community of people interested in Intuitive Wellness and just as many people who are taking my courses. The courses range from a Wellness Coaching credential to Telemental Health. You can see all of my online offerings here.
What about getting my oils?
For those of you that have been to the studio, you know we have quite an inventory of essential oils and supplies. We aren’t unloading those to be sure! We will keep our inventory and if you are local and have an oily emergency, give one of us a call. We will also be using those supplies in area workshops and at vendor events. No worries! I intend to be active and remain a presence in the community. In fact, I will probably have more time! Oh, and by the way, I do have an Etsy Shop with some of my favorite blends. Usher in Opportunity
Yes, it is time I do just that. I have opportunities that have been presented to me for quite some time with no emotional, cognitive or literal space to go for it… two book contracts with very patient publishers for starters. And with that completed, another host of opportunities come with. But mostly I have ongoing opportunities to educate people about essential oils both online and locally and that is what I aim for. I asked the universe for more opportunities to be of service and I am receiving what I requested. We thought we would build it and they would come. And many of you did. Now it’s time for me to bring these gifts to as many people as I can- the intuitive gifts I have been blessed with and the oily gifts of the earth.
