If you regularly read my blog you may already know the reasons but I thought I would summarize in this blog post because I am always asked, “Why did you choose Young Living Essential Oils?” So here are my top 5 reasons. And I add many links in this post so that you can read additional information.

That’s right. I was introduced to Young Living a few years ago and I tried them. I started with the Premium Starter Kit. The oils do exactly what they are designed to do- they support my everyday living in every way- emotional, spiritual, physical support as well as a gateway to non-toxic living. They work. And they smell wonderful. Other oil scents and chemical fragrances make me scrunch up my nose. The big big bonus? These oils support my biggest goal- feeling and being my best!
2. Young Living has a Scientific Advisory Council
I am a geek. You know, I am the person who has googled it before the other person finishes telling me a fun fact. So, I was thrilled when I discovered Young Living doesn’t just willy-nilly bottle these precious earth liquids. The Young Living Essential Oils Scientific Advisory Council is exemplary. They do research, they support research, they believe in and promote the science behind aromatherapy and the use of essential oils. They also support multiple ways essential oils can be used. We can inhale, diffuse, apply topically and ingest Young Living Essential Oils and we can do so safely.
3. Young Living is the largest essential oils distiller in the world
Young Living owns farms across the globe, harvesting many of their own oils. They practice sustainable farming. Young Living’s Seed to Seal guarantee ensures they know the quality of the oils from the seed that goes in the ground to the seal that goes on the bottle. Their co-op, partner and qualified vendor farms must meet the same rigorous standards as the farms owned by Young Living. Other essential oil companies are not interested in developing farms that are agro-sustainable, both for the environment and for our children’s future. But this is what makes Young Living unique.
4. Young Living is transparent
I love transparency. It is not just a buzz word for me. The company is transparent in every way. I can visit the corporate offices. I can visit the farms. I can participate in harvest. I can experience it for myself – what that entire “Seed to Seal” process is like. If I have a question about a product, a product’s ingredients, or why I can or can’t use a product in a certain way, all I have to do is ask.
5. Young Living is generous

To summarize, as someone certified as both a Health Coach and Aromatherapist and who has spent 20+ years in the helping and healing professions, I want to be associated with a company that supports my own philosophy and orientation toward wellness. But you don’t have to be certified in anything to use, learn about and share Young Living’s products. Why?
